Health data is some of the most sensitive information that exists. We treat it that way. CAPABLE has never sold user data, has never run ads against your health profile, and never will.

All data is encrypted at rest and in transit. We use read-only OAuth scopes wherever possible — we physically cannot write to your Strava or Apple Health even if we wanted to. You can export or delete everything at any time, with no hoops to jump through.

Does connecting an app give CAPABLE write access?
No. We use read-only OAuth scopes for every integration. We can see your data but cannot modify, delete, or add anything to your source apps. Ever.
What happens if I disconnect an app?
The connection is revoked immediately. Historical data that was already synced stays in your CAPABLE timeline unless you choose to delete it — your choice.
How far back does historical import go?
Up to 2 years for most integrations. Some platforms limit what they expose via API — Strava and Apple Health typically give us full history going back several years.
How often does data sync?
Wearables that support webhooks (Oura, WHOOP, Garmin) update within minutes. App-based sources like Strava sync every 15–30 minutes, and on-demand via a manual refresh button.
Is form analysis available on all plans?
AI video form analysis is available on Individual Pro and all Coach plans. Free users can see example analyses but cannot submit their own videos.
Can I use CAPABLE without any connected apps?
Yes. You can manually log workouts, habits, and metrics directly in CAPABLE. Integrations make it effortless, but they're optional — not required to get value.
What formats does data export come in?
JSON for structured data, CSV for tabular data, and MP4 for any uploaded videos. Everything is bundled into a single zip file delivered to your email within 24 hours.
Does CAPABLE work offline?
The mobile app caches your recent data and habits locally, so you can log and view your dashboard without internet. Sync resumes automatically when you reconnect.
